More and more teenagers are disappearing from Jersey City, and Kamala knows The Inventor is behind it. With help from new friends Wolverine and Lockjaw, Kamala goes on a mission to find out who she really is and what The Inventor's plans are.

This was an utterly awesome sequel. It was funny, filled with action, and featured some characters from the wider Marvel Universe.

The scenes between Ms. Marvel and Wolverine were hilarious. I loved Kamala's awkward fangirling and Wolveine's appreciation of her weirdness. Having a form of mentor figure really helped the story moving away from character origins and onto Kamala discovering more about her abilities and what kind of hero she wants to be.

I really loved the message presented in this volume about the youth of today. It addresses a ton of adolescent stereotypes and how this is more than just the mobile generation - a storyline that really fits with the mood and themes of the series. It was a little cliche, but I'm a sucker for cliches.
Diversity Note: Pakistani Muslim protagonist
